Doga’s New Volunteer System Launched

We know the importance of volunteering and synergy in nature conservation, and where possible, we reach our volunteers in order to exchange this experience and know-how. Volunteers can take part in awareness-raising activities such as Euro Birdwatch and Big Jump as well as technical fieldworks like Sarımazı Raptor Count and Yelkouan Shearwater Count. However, since these activities are only a part of our work, there was a need to develop a new system that will cover most of our fields of study.

Our new volunteer system developed with our own resources almost completely covers the fields in which we are working. The newly created volunteer form will both guide the volunteers in terms of how and in which fields they can give support and make them become closely familiar with nature conservation. Moreover, this form will be a bridge between the volunteer and the person responsible for the field in which the volunteer is interested.

We hope that the new volunteer system will be a guide for many people who would like to give support but do not know how and also be intriguing especially for the new generation, and thus we aim at growing our nature conservation community with new faces and new ideas.
