Doğa is seeking to recruit Projects Administrator

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Ensure that activities of Doğa’s projects are carried out according to calendar defined in project plans
  • Ensure harmonization between workplans of protect teams and secure that project activities are carried out as scheduled
  • Ensure that interim and final reports are accomplished on time as defined in project contracts
  • Secure that the project budgets are used with high efficiency for nature conservation and according to Doğa’s principles
  • Present three-monthly monitoring reports to board members on projects
  • Develop and monitor Doğa’s internal working protocols
  • Develop and implement Doğa’s internal monitoring and assessment strategy

Qualifications:

  • Experience in multi-partnered multinational mid to large scale projects
  • Good command of Project Cycle Management
  • Openness and respect for different views and cultures in Turkey and around the World
  • Being able to work as part of team and self-dedication/interest in conservation of nature
  • High flexibility for traveling for job-related field studies or other purposes
  • Being capable in flexible time management
  • Fluent in oral and academic English
  • BSc/MSc degree with proven experience in management.

Doğa is seeking to recruit an  “Remote Sensing – Geographical Information Systems Consultant”

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Synthesize, archive, analyze and represent geospatial data on sites and species on which Doğa Derneği is working
  • Conduct vegetation/land cover/habitat classifications of raster data with appropriate spatiotemporal resolution
  • Prepare maps needed for projects conducted under different programmes of Doğa Derneği
  • Define geospatial data gathering standards with other relevant staff of Doğa Derneği

Qualifications:

  • Good command of GIS and RS software, particularly ArcGIS, and analyzes/synthesis
  • Openness and respect for different views and cultures in Turkey and around the World
  • Being able to work as part of team and self-dedication/interest in conservation of nature
  • High flexibility for traveling for job-related field studies or other purposes
  • Being capable in flexible time management
  • BSc/MSc degree
